SOUTH BEND, Ind. - The softball series finale between Pitt and Notre Dame at Melissa Cook Stadium has been cancelled due to cold weather.
The ACC rule is that temperatures have to feel warmer than 32 degrees according to weather.com for competition to happen, and temperatures in South Bend today are not scheduled to reach above that mark.
The Panthers will return to action this Tuesday when Pitt hosts Ohio State for a doubleheader beginning at 3 p.m.
