PITTSBURGH - With rain in forecast on Wednesday in central Pennsylvania, Pitt has cancelled its doubleheader with Penn State and will travel to Ohio State for one game on Wednesday evening.
The Panthers and the Nittany Lions were scheduled to play a doubleheader beginning at 5 p.m. at Beard Field in Happy Valley, but with 100% chance of rain, the two teams decided to call the games.
Pitt was able to reschedule with Ohio State (25-23), a team they originally had a game cancelled with on March 25, for one game on Wednesday evening at 6 p.m.
