PITTSBURGH - Due to the rainout last Sunday at Cleveland State, the University of Pittsburgh softball team and CSU have agreed to play a doubleheader this Saturday afternoon at Vartabedian Field.
The Panthers will now play four home games this weekend, with two against the Vikings on Saturday, and their originally scheduled doubleheader with Youngstown State on Sunday.
First pitch on Saturday is scheduled for 2 p.m., while Sunday's action is slated for 1 p.m.
Pittsburgh won both of its contests last weekend, defeating Kentucky 6-1 and topping Cleveland State 3-0 in Cleveland.
