FRESHMAN (2010-11) Kimmy Borza played at No. 4/3 singles and No. 2/1 doubles during her rookie season...earned a 12-12 record in singles and a 13-11 mark in doubles action...tallied a five-match win streak from Feb. 4-March 7...shutout her opponent (6-0, 3-0) for a straight-set victory against Bucknell (Feb. 4)...played in and won her first three-set victory when she battled back from a loss in the first frame against West Virginia (Feb. 16)...came back from one set down in the Nova Southeastern (Mar. 6)contest to tie the team score at 4-4 when she handed Paige Lindsley her first singles loss of the season...added another win to her total when she defeated her Providence opponent after playing up at No. 3 in the line-up...turned in a seasons-best 12-10 doubles record when partnered with Jocelyn Lu...won five-out-of-six doubles matches with Lu from March 18-April 6...advanced to the finals of the Sergio Tacchini Invitational alongside Lu in the B-2 Doubles bracket...was the first doubles team to finish in the first-ever tennis match played at Alpha Tennis and Fitness Club alongside Borza...posted an 8-3 victory in that doubles match against St. Bonaventure (Feb. 21).
