AS A SENIOR (2014-15): Competed in the No. 5 and No. 6 spots in singles and the No. 1 and No. 2 spots in doubles...Defeated Notre Dame doubles team that was ranked No. 14 in the nation along with partner Lolade Ogungbesan...Began conference play with a 2-0 record in doubles...Contributed singles victories in team wins over Eastern Michigan and Duquesne...Ended the season with an overall record of 8-22 in singles and 9-17 in doubles.

AS A JUNIOR (2013-14): Match-by-Match Results: Started the season with a singles victory over Morehead State's Sandrine Beaule, winning 6-1, 6-1...Won her first doubles match of the year (8-4) with teammate Kimmy Borza against Youngstown State's Nehel Sahni and Dominika Lackova...Recorded a singles win over Robert Morris's Marie-Sophie Heine 6-3, 6-1, helping the Panthers to a team victory over the Colonials...Capped off her doubles season with a victory over Heini Salonen and Emily Safron from Boston College, 8-6, with partner Molly Wickman in the ACC Tournament...Castro finished the season with a singles record of 5-15 and a doubles record of 7-6.

2012-13: Sat out due to NCAA transfer rules.

FRESHMAN (2011-12 AT MIAMI, OHIO): Went 5-7 for the year in singles play, including a 2-2 record in dual matches...played the No. 6 position...posted two impressive victories over Vanderbilt in the spring season...recorded a 4-2 record in doubles play with all the matches taking place in the fall.

Played at No. 1 doubles position for four years...played at No. 1 singles position for three years...won the District and Regional Team Championship her sophomore year and came in second in the state...won the District Championship her sophomore year and qualified for the State Championship for both doubles and singles...inducted into the Miami-Palmetto Senior High Sports Hall of Fame her senior year and was the Miami Herald Athlete of the Year in was GMAC and District champions in 2010-2011 season...captain of the team her junior and senior years.

Daughter of Tony and Carol the oldersister of Antonio and Olivia...majoring in Biological Sciences and plans to attend nursing school after graduation
