HAMPTON, Va.--The women's tennis team concluded its fall schedule, as two members of the squad competed in the ITA Championships held at Old Dominion this past weekend.

Junior Kristy Borza (Beaver, Pa./Beaver Area) advanced to the round of 32 in singles play after two wins. First she defeated Susan Sullivan with scores of 6-2 and 6-4. Later in the round of 64, Borza earned the victory as she only gave up three points to Danielle Viola.

In her match of the tournament, Borza dropped a hard-fought bout to top seated Megan Moulton-Levy of William and Mary.

Later Borza teamed with freshman Elizabeth Adams (Reading, Pa./Wilson) in doubles, where the pair fell 8-2 to William and Mary's No. 1 doubles team.

The Panthers open their spring schedule on Feb. 9 at 11 a.m. against Georgetown.
