PITTSBURGH -- The University of Pittsburgh women's tennis team's season-opening match scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 6 at the University of Maryland has been postponed due to weather conditions expected to occur this weekend.

No future match time has been set for the Panthers and Terrapins, who were set to meet for the first time in 30 years this weekend in College Park, Md.

Pitt will now turn their attention to Big East Conference rival West Virginia. The Panthers and Mountaineers will meet in Pittsburgh on Wednesday, Feb. 10 at Noon.
