PITTSBURGH--Due to inclement weather, the Pitt women's tennis match set for today against Bucknell has been postponed to Tuesday, April 8, at 3 p.m., in Lewisburg, Pa.

The Panthers will conclude a 10-match road trip when they face the Bison for the 22nd meeting in series history. Pitt trails 8-13 in the series, but won the last two, including a 7-0 shutout in the season opener last year.

Pitt is coming off a tough conference loss to Rutgers, 5-2, which snapped its six-match win streak. In the match, senior Carlie Smith (Bel Air, Md./C. Milton Wright) garnered her 131 combined career victory.

Junior Kristy Borza (Beaver Area, Beaver) leads the squad with a 24-9 singles record and holds the school record with 135 combined wins. Additionally, she is just one win shy of tying the third-best career doubles mark of 60, currently held by senior Leah Friedman (Pittsburgh, Pa./Taylor Allderdice) and Dana Jafarian.

Borza and freshman Elizabeth Adams (Reading, Pa./Wilson) are now 15-3 on the season in No. 1 doubles. Adams boasts a 22-9 singles record.

The Bison are 5-6 after a shutout loss to UBMC and have three matches over the next few days before facing the Panthers.
