PHILADELPHIA – The University of Pittsburgh women’s tennis team captured one doubles titles and two individual championships this weekend at the Saint Joseph’s Invitational.

The duo of Jocelyn Lu and Taylor Washington won the Flight 2 doubles championship, while Washington defeated teammate Amanda Wickman for the Flight 3 singles championship (4-6, 6-3, 11-9). Junior Kimmy Borza brought home the Flight 4 singles title by blanking Camilla Diaz of Saint Francis, 6-0, 6-0.

Three individuals also won consolations singles championships as Lu won the Flight 1 consol championship, senior Karma Parbhu in Flight 2 action, and sophomore Blair Brown in Flight 4.

The Panthers are back on the court in two weeks at the Navy Blue and Gold Invitational in Annapolis, Md.
