High School: Shasteen has attended the PIAA state championship three times for javelin... her team was three-time section champs... named New Castle News athlete of the week... placed at WPIAL qualifiers... placed at MAC championships... was named team MVP... also an All-section basketball player and MVP.... a member of the National Honor Society and National Spanish Honor Society...and received the Army Scholar Athlete Award.
