As a freshman (2000) Megan Miller saw action in 10 matches and 28 games...had eight kills and 31 digs on the year...recorded a career-high four kills in a sweep of St. Francis (Pa.) (Oct. 11)...also had a career-high eight digs in the match...posted five digs twice...first time came versus Notre Dame (Oct. 8)...second was in a win over Belmont (Oct. 13)...recorded her first career block against St. Francis (Oct. 11) and first block assist versus Notre Dame.

High School Miller was a two-time all-state and all-conference honoree as a senior at Jonathon Law High...she recorded 1,203 career kills and was named the Bridgeport Post and New Haven Register's Most Valuable Player in 1999...led her team to the Colonial Division Championship as a junior in 1998...her team finished 10th in the state of Connecticut in both 1998 and 1999...was also a four-year standout in basketball and holds school records for points, rebounds, blocks and steals....was a three-time all-state and all-conference honoree in basketball... earned the Channel 12 Scholar-Athlete Award...also a member of the Connecticut Juniors Volleyball Club.
