Final Stats

The Pittsburgh Panthers volleyball team completed a two-game Big East Conference swing this past weekend with a 3-1 (21-30, 30-24, 25-30, 26-30) loss to host Virginia Tech.

Freshman Abby Fecchelm (Roscoe, Ill./Hononegah High) posted her second career double-double with a career high 15 kills and 10 digs. Sophomore Wendy Hatlestad (Roseville, Minn./Roseville) recorded a team-high 19 kills and sophomore Carrie Norris (Fostoria, Ohio/Hopewell-Loudon) recorded her fourth double-double of the season with 40 assists and 11 digs.

The Panthers, who are 5-8 overall and 2-3 in Big East Conference play, return to action Friday, oct. 12, when they host Connecticut at 7 p.m.
