PRAGUE, Czech Republic -
After a good night of sleep the team woke up this morning to a traditional European breakfast. Breakfast here is alot like American lunch consisting of meats, cheese, and breads. After breakfast we headed out to sight see around the streets of Prague. We took the tram into the city and were greeted by hundreds of local high school protesters filling the streets.

After the protesters passed we toured the Hradcany Castle. To get to the castle we had to climb many stairs, but were able to get an open view of the city from above. The view was beautiful. After taking a bunch of pictures and a team shot we toured the castle getting quick history lessons from Eurica, our guide for the day, along the way. We also were able to see St. Vetos Cathedral when we were on top of the hill.
Afterwards we were given free time to go eat lunch and sightsee other areas of Prague. A few of my teammates and I took the opportunity to experience a popular lunch in Czech. We went to a local pub and ate Golash and Dumplings. Tonight, we had our second match of the trip. We didn't play as well as we had hoped, but were still able to pull out a win in four games. We are definitely looking forward to our next match in a couple of days to play some Pitt volleyball! Check back for more updates from Europe!
