VENICE, Italy - Today was the 12th
What a beautiful day
We began in Croatia
On this segment of May

After two hours
Of bathing in the sun
We ventured to Venice
To have some fun

Though Pula was grand
With its beaches and weather
We were anxious for Venezia (Venice in Italian)
And Italian leather

After a four-hour trip
We came to our inn
With a quick shower and change
We were off again

Venice, oh Venice
Was amazing at night
There were gondolas and buildings
All lit up with light

Tomorrow we shall sight see
Around 10 o'clock
A full day's time
To frolic and flock

Hopefully we will enjoy
Each minute of our stay
Just as we have
This whole trip in May

As of right now
I must go to bed
For I am tired (yet excited)
And recently fed

I am sorry to announce
I will say good night
But remember to keep
Our Pitt journals in sight!
