PITTSBURGH - ROOT SPORTS has announced they will air live telecasts of the Pitt at Florida State volleyball match on October 12, and the Pitt at Duke women's soccer game on October 27.
ROOT SPORTS released on July 1 a deal that brings extensive scheduling of Atlantic Coast Conference programming and live games to the regional sports network starting in the Fall of 2013.
Under this new agreement ROOT SPORTS will have access to over 140 live ACC games including:
17 Football Games
43 Men's Basketball Games
25 Women's Basketball Games
10+ Women's Basketball Tournament Games
12 Baseball Tournament Games
20 Other Olympic sports games
The Florida State volleyball match serves as the Panthers' second away ACC contest of the season (Pitt will play at Miami two days earlier). The Seminoles finished ranked No. 18 last year with a 28-4 overall record.
The women's soccer team will venture to Durham, N.C. to face Duke in its second-to-last regular-season game of the campaign. Duke played to an overall record of 15-6-2 last season and finished ranked No. 8 in the country.
