PITTSBURGH—Pitt’s women’s volleyball team hits the road for a match at Rutgers, this weekend. The Panthers meet the Scarlet Knights at 2 p.m., on Saturday, Nov. 1.

Pitt (14-10, 6-3 BIG EAST) looks to rebound from its two conference losses this past weekend. However, the Panthers continue to out-block its opponents, 232.5-171.5, on the season. In conference play, the Panthers are averaging 2.80 blocks per set.

Last week, senior Jessica Moses (North Olmstead, Ohio/Lutheran West) tallied six block assists in the Connecticut match, setting the all-time career record and now boast 394 to date.

Additionally, Meagan Dooley (West Chester, Ohio/Lakota West) recorded five solo stuffs last week and currently leads the squad with 19 on the season.

Rutgers (1-17, 0-8 BIG EAST) is coming off a 3-0 loss to Georgetown, itself. Caitlin Saxton earned a team-high 10 kills for the Scarlet Knights in the match.

The Panthers lead the Scarlet Knights, 24-6, in the series, including wins in the last three matches.
