PITTSBURGH-The University of Pittsburgh women's volleyball team (13-14/5-9 ACC) will be on the road this weekend as they travel to ACC opponents Syracuse (13-13/8-6 ACC) and Boston College (8-18/0-14 ACC) on Friday, November 15, and Sunday, November 17.
Pitt is coming off a tough 3-1 loss from No. 15 Duke at home last Sunday. Delaney Clesen tallied a team-best of 24 digs in the match. With the 24 digs, Clesen has now surpassed the 1,000 dig mark in her career.
For the season, the Panthers have been led by Jessica Wynn who leads on the offensive side with 324 kills. Kate Yeazel is close behind with 264 and Mechael Guess with 235. On defense Clesen is leading with 429 digs and Jenna Potts is leading the team in blocks with 108.
For Syracuse, Silvi Uattara leads the way with 330 kills and 94 blocks, while for Boston College Katty Workman leads the team offensively with 370 kills.
This will mark the 42nd meeting between Syracuse and Pitt and the 24th time Boston College and Pitt have met. The Panthers lead the series against Syracuse 31-10, despite dropping a 3-1 contest earlier this season.
Pitt leads the series against the Eagles 22-1; including a sweep at home on Oct. 18.
