PITTSBURGH - The University of Pittsburgh women's volleyball team (15-14/7-9 ACC) will be hosting Maryland (13-15/5-11 ACC) and NC State (20-8/11-5 ACC) this weekend at the Fitzgerald Field House on Friday, November 22, and Sunday, November 24. Sunday's match will air live on ESPN3 at 2 p.m. and will also serve as senior day.
The Panthers are coming off a pair of victories last weekend over Syracuse and Boston College. For the season, Jessica Wynn has led the Panthers' offense with 347 kills. On defense, Delaney Clesen leads the squad with 459 digs and Jenna Potts has a team-best 120 blocks.
For Maryland, Mary Cushman leads the team offensively with 335 kills, while Dariyan Hooper leads NC State with 328 kills.
This will mark the 23nd meeting between Maryland and Pitt and the fifth time North Carolina State and Pitt have met.
The Panthers lead the series against Maryland 12-10, despite dropping a 3-1 contest earlier this season. Pitt leads the series against North Carolina State 3-1 despite falling in their meeting earlier this year.
