I PURCHASED MEN'S BASKETBALL SEASON TICKETS IN 2012-13.
TO PURCHASE SEASON TICKETS IN GENERAL SEATING FOR 2013-14, WHAT IS THE NEXT STEP?


1.) Renew/submit your donation to the Panther Club Athletic Scholarship Fund on or before June 20, 2013. Minimum gift is $300 to be considered for two seats on First Allocation basis, subject to availability. Minimum gift is $100 to be considered for two seats on Second Allocation basis, subject to availability.

2.) Submit a Season Ticket Request Application. Customers who had season tickets in 2012-13 and donate by June 20, 2013 will be sent a ticket request application in July 2013.

MEN'S BASKETBALL POLICIES


SINGLE-GAME TICKET AVAILABILITY:
If the visiting team does not sell-out their allotment of tickets, the Panthers Ticket Office will place the remaining tickets on sale approx. one week prior to the game. The Panthers Ticket Office will notify the men's basketball waiting list members by email prior to releasing tickets to the general public.

Join the MBB Season Ticket Waiting List and be the first to know about single-game tickets if they become available.

TICKET REPRINT REQUESTS:
Season ticket holders that misplace their full season tickets package and request their season tickets be reprinted should please consider the following:
1.) The original season tickets will be voided and the reprinted tickets will become the valid tickets for the seats and 2.) payment information is required and the Panthers Ticket Office may process payment for ticket reprints.

Panthers fans that misplace their single-game tickets to a Pitt basketball home game and request that their tickets be reprinted should please consider:
1.) The original tickets will be voided and the reprinted tickets will become the valid tickets for the seats. 2.) Payment is required in full. If the reprint is processed online, there will be a fee of $4 per order. If the reprint is processed over the phone or in person, there will be a fee of $10 per order.

ADMISSION POLICY:
All fans must have a ticket to enter the Petersen Events Center. Children younger than 1 do not need a ticket if they are going to sit on an adult's lap. Children 1 year of age or older are required to have a ticket.

REFUNDS:
Refunds or exchanges are not granted unless an order is not filled. Refunds may not be made due to a time or date change.

HOW MAY I BE CONSIDERED FOR 2013-14 MEN'S BASKETBALL GENERAL SEATING SEASON TICKETS IF I DID NOT HAVE SEASON TICKETS LAST YEAR?

1.) Join the Men's Basketball General Seating Waiting List on or before June 20, 2013. You may join that waiting list by contacting the Panthers Ticket Office at 1-800-643-PITT (7488) or online at pittsburghpanthers.com/mbbwaitinglist by selecting `General' tickets.

2.) Donate to the Panther Club Athletic Scholarship Fund on or before June 20, 2013. Minimum gift is $300 to be considered for two seats on First Allocation basis, subject to availability. Minimum gift is $100 to be considered for two seats on Second Allocation basis, subject to availability. To become a member of the Panther Club, please call 412-648-8889 or make your donation online at pittsburghpanthers.com/donate by designating your gift to the `Panther Club Athletic Scholarship Fund'.

3.) Submit a Season Ticket Request Application. Customers who meet the above criteria will be sent a 2013-14 Men's Basketball season ticket request application in July 2013.

2013-14 ESTIMATED PANTHER CLUB SEATING REQUIREMENTS


For the 2013-14 Men's Basketball season, the Panthers Ticket Office and the Panther Club will re-assign seats in the general seating areas of the Petersen Events Center among purchasers of season tickets for such seats. Except as expressly stated below, the number of Men's Basketball season tickets available to you, if any, will be determined based on your fiscal year 2013 Panther Club membership level, as of June 20, 2013. Timely requests for Men's Basketball season tickets will be considered and seats assigned based on Panther Club Priority Point rank as of June 20, 2013. Only those gifts received on or before June 20, 2013 will count towards the 2013-14 season. Further:
  1. Season tickets will first be allocated and seats assigned, on a first allocation basis, to Victory Level members and above ($300+ annually) who purchased Men's Basketball season tickets for the 2012-13 season or joined the General Seating waiting list for such tickets by June 20, 2013 and who submit a timely ticket request application. Such tickets will be allocated and seats assigned using the June 20, 2013 Panther Club Priority Point ranking (based on Priority Points for all active members), based on availability.

  2. Season tickets will then be allocated and seats assigned, on a second allocation basis, to Panther Level members ($100-$299 annually) who purchased Men's Basketball season tickets for the 2012-13 season or joined the General Seating waiting list for such tickets by June 20, 2013 and who submit a timely ticket request application. Such tickets will be allocated and seats assigned only after Victory Level members and above are seated, as described above, and using the June 20, 2013 Panther Club Priority Point ranking (based on Priority Points for all active members), based on availability.

  3. Season tickets will then be allocated and seats assigned, on a third allocation basis, to all Panther Club members requesting additional general seating season tickets (above the otherwise applicable number as determined by fiscal year 2013 Panther Club membership level, as of June 20, 2013). Such tickets will be allocated and seats assigned only after Panther Level members are seated, as described above, and using the June 20, 2013 Panther Club Priority Point ranking (based on Priority Points for all active members), based on availability. The Panthers Ticket Office reserves the right to limit the number of such additional tickets per purchase, in its discretion.
All current Panther Club members who purchased Men's Basketball season tickets last year and those who have joined the General Seating waiting list by June 20, 2013 will be sent a ticket request application.

All tickets, seating and parking is based on availability. We reserve the right to change per-seat gift requirements, ticket and parking prices.

Note: In the discretion of the University of Pittsburgh, faculty, staff and others may be granted a discount on the price of season tickets [excluding Platinum Club, Champions Club, Courtside Club and VIP Courtside]. However, all donation and other requirements applicable to purchasers of such season tickets will apply, without discount or modification.

Note: Receipt and/or submission of a ticket or parking application does not guarantee the availability of tickets or parking.


PREMIUM SEATING OPPORTUNITIES


Premium seats include special amenities specific to each area. Several premium seat opportunities also include access to the Campus View Club before, during and after Men's Basketball home games.

For the Men's Basketball 2013-14 season, a minimum per-seat contribution is required for certain premium seats in the Petersen Events Center. A season ticket purchaser may retain these seats for the 2013-14 season by timely making the required contribution and paying the applicable ticket price.

Season ticket purchasers assigned to such seats for the 2012-13 season will have the first opportunity to purchase season tickets for the same seats for the 2013-14 season. Other donors may request season tickets for such seats and, subject to availability, may be assigned to such seats based on their fiscal year 2013 Panther Club membership level and their Panther Club Priority Point rank as of June 20, 2013.

Seating is listed below.

The point values above are the estimated First Allocation point requirements for the indicated general seating areas in the Petersen Events Center. Actual point requirements may vary. It is expected that all seats assigned on Second and Third Allocation will be located in Category 4. The information contained on this website is just an estimate and is subject to change.

Sections listed above are in order by which they will be assigned. The Panther Club and Panthers Ticket Office is operating on the understanding:

  1. General seating season ticket applicants can submit a request for a desired location(s) and should indicate detailed preferences on the ticket request application. Subject to the applicable criteria, if we are unable to fulfill your specific request(s), we will make a reasonable effort to assign you to seats as close as we can to those you request.
  2. The quantity of seats allocated to each donor is determined by fiscal year 2013 Panther Club membership level as of June 20, 2013.
  3. General seating in each category is assigned starting in the front to the middle of each section first (i.e. closer to the court). Once all sections in that category are assigned in that manner, then the seats in that category are assigned from the middle to the top of each section (i.e. further from the court).

All tickets and seating is based on availability. The Department of Athletics reserves the right to change per-seat gift requirements and ticket prices.

ACCESSIBLE SEATING


Fans requiring wheelchair accessible seats will have an equal opportunity to purchase season tickets consistent with the allocation process set forth on this website. Fans wishing to purchase wheelchair accessible season tickets should include a request for accessible seats when submitting their request for season tickets. For more information, please contact the Panthers Ticket Office by emailing tickets@athletics.pitt.edu or calling 1-800-643-PITT (7488).

SEATING REQUESTS


All general seating is re-assigned each year based on priority point ranking within the Panther Club. If you prefer a certain section or area, we encourage you to make a request with your ticket request application. When making a seat location request, please be as specific as possible so we are able to best accommodate your request. It is also encouraged to make more than one request, in case your first preference is not available. Subject to the applicable criteria, if we are unable to fulfill your specific request(s), we will make a reasonable effort to assign you to seats as close as we can to those you request. You may submit your request in a separate letter attached to your request application, or by e-mail to the Panthers Ticket Office at tickets@athletics.pitt.edu.

Note: Requests do not carry over from year to year, and must be made prior to each season.

GROUP SEATING


If you are interested in sitting with other Panther Club members, we ask that you submit a group seating request with your ticket request application. Each person in your group should submit the following information with their ticket request application:
  • Name (that is listed on the application) for each group member
  • Customer Number for each group member (located on the top left of your Men's Basketball Ticket Request Application).
  • Any seating location requests.

Please remember group seating is assigned based on the average Panther Club priority point total of the group. This is calculated by summing the Panther Club priority point total of each member and dividing by the total number of members in the group.
