ABOUT THE VARSITY LETTER CLUB
Founded in 1931 under the devoted leadership of Executive Secretary George I. Carson, the Pitt Varsity Letter Club (VLC) has existed to promote excellence in both academics and athletics at the University of Pittsburgh.
The VLC is dedicated to helping establish enduring relationships between the University of Pittsburgh and each of our varsity sport letterwinners. As of May 1, 2016 we are no longer charging membership dues in hopes to expand the reach and impact of the VLC. We are grateful to those who have donated to the Varsity Letter Club Endowed Scholarship. Moving forward, we encourage all letterwinners to generously support Pitt student-athletes in all 19 of our varsity sports.
